“I approach the subject of my paintings with a balance of thoughtfulness and impulsiveness, which manifests itself in unpredictable ways. The canvas and I go on a unique journey together, and sometimes we get lost, but we always find our way in the end”.
“When I paint, I let myself go. I sync my breath with the canvas, together we inhale and exhale color, porpoising in out of consciousness. Sometimes I unconsciously stop, taking a respite I didn’t realize I needed. Sometimes the artwork takes hours, sometimes weeks, and sometimes months. But, it’s the same sense of passion each time that brings me back to the studio time and time again. I paint for pleasure- a pleasure I love and wish to share with my collectors and world
